for giving
to be complete
one must receive
some things
are too precious
to share
and should be
guarded by the heart

seconds turn into minutes
minutes turn into hours
hours turn into days
days turn into weeks
there’re a lot of seconds
in seventeen days
trust me
I’ve felt every one
turning the page
new title
new sentence
new paragraph
reading
every word
to find out the next
what will happen
what will unfold
in this chapter
called…
what will my view be
where will I go
what will I say
what will I hear
there’s more to life
than knowing the answers
when are secrets mine?
never
I keep some things buried
inside
until God asks me to
unearth
what wasn’t mine to
keep
but HIS to bring others
freedom
in the quietness of my heart
God hears and knows
my thoughts
my truths
my plans
my will

by itself
it requires action
sometimes risk
and commitment
as it remains unspoken
