sometimes people
don’t want to hear your heart
because they don’t know what to do with it
but most of the time
I simply want an ear
and maybe a hug
never be afraid
to listen to someone’s heart
because usually
God’s intervened
before the last word’s been
spoken

so much so with God
His church

each line
an open door
to see what’s inside
to read between the lines
to read behind the lines
all of it truth
all of it out there
as the words
enter your eyes
to your heart
there’s a moment created
for you to ask
for you to listen
for you to understand
for you to delve
and get to know me
if you want
If you’re relationship with God isn’t something you hold onto and say, “Mine’s better than yours,” than you should go deeper with God. I love my relationship with Him and wouldn’t trade it with anyone else’s!!!
