Walking the Streets

Yesterday morning, my friend, Sal, and I met at the Lemon Grove trolley station to see what God had in store for people. It was the second time we’d seen each other, but you would’ve thought we’d known each other for a while because that’s the Kingdom connection we all have in Christ.

When we came together, we were both sharing how we used to “need” outreaches to reach out to people but now, that’s not the case because it’s turned into a lifestyle for each of us. We met to teach another young man how to pray on the streets, but he ended up not coming, so Sal and I decided to change the world without him. Continue reading →

The Absence of Fear

When God first told me about making and selling flags for a living, it was in July of 2014. so those who are thinking I’m rushing into this are wrong, but as the time grew closer for me to officially start “Flames of Glory,” fear and doubt grew closer, too, until a little over a week ago.

Thinking about starting a business would overwhelm me to the point of tears. This wasn’t a “good” overwhelming; this was very much bad. I had so much doubt and fear that it almost paralyzed me.

Plane of Prayer

Burning through my soul
reminding me
of Your love
for me

He said, “The beauty of your worship
to Me fills heaven.
On earth, it looks different,
but in Heaven,
the beauty’s the same.”
