Don’t live on the edge; jump off the cliff!

Just Keep Swimming

In one week, I received SIXTEEN scarf orders. Do you even “know” what that means?

It means I don’t have to quit and find a job.

It means this business will remain and grow.

It means, every time I cried and sobbed, there’d be an outcome (if I didn’t give up).

EVERY TIME I contemplated quitting, I KNEW I was supposed to continue on, but it didn’t make any common sense. Continue reading

“Common Cents”

you know what I love?
I never thought
I could work from home
without a husband
yet here I am
working from home
without a husband
and making it

never let doubt win
and stop you from stepping out
in doing what you believe
God’s called you to do

if you listen
you’ll never quit
you’ll learn to trust
you’ll grow a little taller
at hearing His Voice

you may want to cry
may give up a million times
but never follow through
because you’ll make it

listen to His voice

Encouraging
Strengthening
Developing your sense

to keep going

“Eternal Flames (of Glory)”

I wonder do they know
how I wanted to quit
how I planned to quit
this month

so many tears
conversations with God
all the while
Him revealing

a new kind of love
seen through His eyes
to keep going
no matter what

a yoke
around the neck
His burden light
as silk

time needed to be spent
without
to watch Him come through
again and again

through friends
through strangers
through family
through love

I can’t explain
the breaking of hope
in realizing a dream
has to end

why bother waking
why bother showering
why bother cooking
without hope

Hope always there
Hope inside
Hope around me
causing me to dream and not quit

the enemy knows
how to use doubt to kill passion
but didn’t know how
to put out the flame

Words that Pierce

Have you ever been attacked by words? If you’re alive, your answer’s probably yes.

Before my retreat, I was attacked harshly by two different people, both “Christians”…both “speaking their truth in love,” but this isn’t a post about bashing them. It’s about continuing to move forward in spite of them.

If you’re new or old to my blog, you’ve probably noticed how I love God and how I live through His Heart. In doing so, I’ve realized all the dreams I have and how they’ll become reality in due time. One of these dreams is to write about whatever God puts on my heart and/or mind, and that’s what I’m currently doing, but it’s more than that. Continue reading
