God didn’t give me a story
He gave me a life
“I” chose the story
the words
the sentences
the punctuation
the paragraphs
the chapters
my actions gave Him the titles
my reactions made up the turmoil
the plot
the climax
at the end of my story
I met Him
which left the door open
for a whole new series
about His story
played out through me
sometimes my call to write
is louder than
my desire to make flags
my desire to love
my desire to meet
encourage
invite
develop
there’re just words that want
to come out
feelings that need
to be expressed

I feel like
when I DO finally meet him
the one I’m to marry
he’ll wonder where I’ve been all his life
but he won’t regret time lost
he’ll love me more with time he has

All throughout childhood, permission was needed to do just about anything: at home, in school, at a friend’s house, etc. It was always polite to ask, necessary to wait, expected to raise your hand in class. I wonder when I grew out of that, or did I? Continue reading
The marvel behind The Lightening and The Fire tagged me in this interview: a man who I’d love to meet, a man who lets everyone see inside his heart. I’m honored to have been thought of by him and admire him so.
Here are the rules:
* Mention the person who tagged you
* Answer the questions in full
* Don’t forget to tag up to ten other bloggers at the end
How did you get into blogging?
One day, as I was reading someone’s inspirational email, and I heard God clearly say, “Why are you reading other people’s words? You have much to write about that others need to read,” so, I began to write on Facebook, which led to creating a website, which led to blogging, which led to poetry, which led to songs, etc. Now, no one can stop me.
What advice would you give to a blogger just starting out?
There’s nothing to hide. When you’re open…honest…real, people understand that and can relate. Every lesson in life learned is meant to be passed on. Just be who you are because being anyone else wouldn’t make sense.
What would be your dream campaign?
Many people seemed trapped in bondage. I want to live freedom out loud for all to hear with their hearts, grab hold of, and walk out of bondage.
Do you have a plan for your blog?
I don’t have any plan for my blog. My blog is my heart revealed, and I don’t have a plan for my heart.
What do you think about rankings?
In general, rankings don’t make sense to me. It causes people to compare.
I’ve barely scratched the surface of getting to know people online from this website, but there are many writers who’ve captured my attention and, at times, my heart.
Here’re some I’d like to hear from:

There’re pros and cons of being a writer.
