in faith
only to receive
the promises
if only tears
had color
so you’d understand
without a word
in sadness
they’d be blue
in peace
they’d be purple
in happiness
they’d be yellow
in anger
they’d be red
you’d know
about me
and I’d know
about you
in silence
God has redefined covenant to me
in a way I finally understand
if He ever broke a covenant with me
I’d be devastated
so if I’m truly growing inside Him
what gives me the right to dishonor covenant?
One of the things we look forward to as a family at Christmas time is buying our tree because more goes into it than just money.
