Love is all He knows
Love is all He is

do we pray ‘Stop the madness’
do we pray for their salvation
do we pray revenge

when I picture the scene in my head
my heart is saddened
by the children
by the witnesses
by the hand that’s lifted

a poem from my heart
not one to anger you
just letting out
what’s inside

I picture Jesus
standing
kneeling
holding
weeping
loving

I want to see what He sees
I want to hear how He hears
I want to love how He loves
I want to pray how He prays
I want to rest as He rests
I want to do how His Spirit leads me

Jesus
be Lord over ISIS
capture their hearts
wash their minds
let Your Spirit fill them up
and cover them
with Your love
