Nowhere in Sight

Yesterday, I was a little excited to see Lee because I bought those fruit slice jelly candies for us to share. Those are always super yummy, and I hadn’t bought them for us before, so I looked forward to seeing his reaction. Some of his reactions to food are priceless. As I walked closer to the statues, he was nowhere to be found…odd.

I set the bag down for a moment and waited, but he wasn’t in view anywhere. Since it had been a little cloudy, I thought maybe he stayed on the other side to stay out of the possible rain. When I reached where he sleeps at the museums, he was nowhere in sight, so back over the bridge I went. I was hoping maybe he was in the restroom or something. When I arrived back at the statues, he was nowhere to be found, so I called a friend.

Immediately, Barry prayed. We lifted Lee up because Continue reading

“Authority Behind Prayer”

It’s so easy to mimic
pretending it’s you
praying, repeating
wanting the same results

nothing happens

I’ve been listening to prayers
not repeating them
but listening…realizing
they’re just words

the enemy doesn’t bow down to words
the enemy flees from authority

becoming love
knowing who you are
scares the enemy back to hell
where it belongs

storming earth with heaven
sending darkness back to hell
an Army is rising

can you feel it

A – authority known
R – relationships growing
M – many standing as one
Y – Yahweh

Live Worship, a Foot Rub, and Flag Football

After work, I headed to the field to watch my boys practice flag football with the team. It’s so good to be around them, to watch Kyle teach Nathan, and to watch Nathan continue to improve. I am always proud-mommy. Well, on the way there, my right foot cramped terribly. Let me explain.

Back in my dancing days, I wore heels ALL THE TIME. Every now and then, my toes curl up from the balls of my feet and remain stuck in that position (as if I’m wearing heels), and throughout this insane cramping, I experience intense pain. There have been times I’ve pulled over to the side of the road until in subsided. Now that I pray, it lessens a lot quicker. I always get irritated when it happens though…always.

Well, by the time I reached the field, it had went away but left a memory of when I was a stripper. Continue reading

Known without Words

There are many people I feel very connected to, and there are some people I feel very connected to, whom I haven’t even met yet. A couple of them are reading this now, but I won’t name names. Well, there is also a couple in Florida, whom I barely know , but in the spiritual realm, it’s like we’re best friends. Continue reading

Through the Eyes of Babes

Okay, so, when I say I’m “fine” being single, I really am FINE being single, but every once in awhile, thoughts of being married, having a ceremony, dancing, or the honeymoon will flash through my mind, and most of the time, those thoughts are good. Let me share with you my thoughts from yesterday. Continue reading
