Crossing Wires

Yesterday, I gave my friend and her dog a ride to one of those mobile neuter buses, and if you know me, that’s a HUGE thing.

Normally, I don’t let animals in my vicinity, let alone my car, but when my friend asked for a ride a little while ago, I didn’t even hesitate to say yes because she’s my friend, and “most of the time,” my love for people overrides my likes or dislikes…most of the time, and I’m so very glad that I let God create our yesterday.

Do you ever have things going on inside and feel like there’s no one to talk to, even though you have hundreds of friends? Well, I do, and yesterday, I had some things roaming within me, just waiting to come out, so God orchestrated this doggy day and put the perfect person in my home to listen.

She heard me, didn’t judge me, never thought differently of me, and related with every thing I talked about. THEN, she talked about how she’s gotten through stuff. We talked a little about everything and a lot about some things. It was the most refreshing morning ever!!

We’re all wired uniquely, and sometimes our wires work well with certain people, and man-o-man, our wires just “connect.”

At times, I want to be known by everyone I come into contact with, and it just doesn’t work that way, but I’m so grateful it works that way for some and love how God makes encounters happen that minister to my heart.

Today, I feel more motivated, more determined, and more confident in continuing to keep this dream I’m living a reality!!
