simple words
‘go in peace’
were left in a comment today
touched my soul deeply

my mind’s filled with God’s word
I know what woman those words refer to
a woman like me

immediately my tears fell on His feet
grateful
humbled
forgiven
made new

even words that followed
‘He loves me…I’m doing something that honors Him’
ME of all people

there are times of wanting to hold someone’s hand
times of wanting a kiss
times of wanting to go grocery shopping
times of wanting money in the bank

at those times
I don’t reach out
I reach up

those comments today
reminded me of courage

courage lifts the faith that’s fueled by love
courage lifts one foot at a time
courage looks to the vision and not to the sight

words brought life today
hope
I can’t wait till God sees me dance in my new dress
