Water Reflection of Faith

Recently, someone was talking about faith and what it look like. Ever since then, I’ve been thinking about what it looks like in my life. I know I have it…a bunch of it, but how do you describe it. With tears in my eyes, I’ll try to explain.

First off, in the bible, the definition of faith shows examples of people on-the-other-side of the trusting part. I’m not there yet, so what faith looks like to me will look different than the examples in the bible.

Anyway, here’re my examples of faith.

Faith is stepping out, even though everyone around you thinks you’re nuts.

Faith is not quitting, even though your sobbing on the floor because you don’t know how you’re going to make it.

Faith is continuing to make flags, even though orders stopped coming in.

Faith is going where God calls you, even if it doesn’t make any sense.

Faith is posting what you’ve written, even if you’re unsure about it.

Faith is waiting for only God’s best, even though you want someone by your side (sometimes very badly).

Faith is singing a song, even though you’ve never done it before.

I’m sure I have more, but you get the idea. Someday, these will be really good because I’ll be on-the-other-side, but for now, this is what my faith looks like.
