Plane of Prayer

Have you ever had “one” person speak into your life and that word cause you to walk away in a different dimension with a different perspective? That happened to me last night, and during a time of group prayer and worship, I had a vision.

In this vision, I saw a huge commercial airplane full of passengers, and right away, God revealed part of it to me. The plane was full of people coming into San Diego, and each part of the plane meant something. They were coming with a purpose: to witness the move of God in this city. That’s as far as I got, and as I was leaving, a friend prayed into my life, and it opened up the door for me to hear from God clearer.

As I was driving, I was pressing into God, asking Him what the rest meant. All of a sudden, things started coming to me, and I had no doubt that what I was hearing was from God and was supposed to be released, so here we go.

The parts of plane signified the prayers that have been lifted up for our city. Here are some of those parts:

Cockpit: prayers for guidance
Wings: prayers for direction
Seats: prayers for lives to be on the altar
Seat belts: prayers for release
Fuselage: prayers for unity

There are two things that God had given me more depth on.

Landing gear: not only used to land, but also used to take off; people will come because lives are being changed and will leave to change lives in their cities
Baggage compartment: not a bad thing; the luggage symbolizes that people will be content in having what they “need” and not needing what they “want”

There are more parts of the plane, but they’re not coming to me, so maybe it’s up to others in the Body of Christ to complete it. There IS something going on in San Diego, and God’s army keeps growing, standing taller…more assured…without hindrances. I’m excited to be a part of it!
