does God speak through an opinion
does He redirect through someone’s voice
or do people persuade your direction
to match the map in their heart

listening to God is simple
hearing Him may be a challenge
emotions may clog your ears
tears may cloud your heart

if I stand still
I won’t step in the wrong direction
but I also won’t be moving
moving into His calling

there’s a way that seems right to man

life is changing
who will I become
how will I get there
what will I do

there’s always opportunity to fail
there’s always opportunity to succeed
LORD. let me hear you clear
let me follow you without fear

my eyes are closed
my feet are covered
my wings spread wide
