At Kyle’s graduation, I snapped these photos of Carolyn. I love the difference a smile makes and showed her what her eyes looked like with and without a smile. It reminded me of the Padres game I went to with Nathan the other night. Let me explain.
During the game, they have many things going on on the “jumbo screen,” and one of the things they scheduled was a ladies-night type of a song, and throughout that song, the camera landed on certain ladies who were sitting next to each other, and the view was eye-opening.
In each moment shown, the camera would find two unsuspecting ladies, who were just sitting there, watching the game. When they realized they were on the screen, they lit up with a smile, and the screen lit up, too. It was amazing to see.
Each woman had a beauty all her own, and when each one smiled, she glowed and lit up the screen. Smiling is a natural makeup that brightens one’s face. They all looked beautiful sitting there, but when they smiled, they looked absolutely gorgeous, and ever since Monday night at the game, I’ve been remembering the difference those smiles made.
