through God

when they deny Him
they reach for what works
drugs
alcohol
adultery
sex
a satisfaction that won’t last
a lie that becomes truth
in a fallen mindset

if they knew their identity
they’d know they were loved
if the lived through the cross
they’d become love

no longer needing
but wanting to love
satisfied in Him
