I always thought I’d follow
never lead
I always thought I’d have map
never a plan
I always read what others said
never had a voice

but God saw something different
He knew what I’d become
how I’d grow and never stop

all along, He’s been preparing me
the years of school
the desire to write
the heart to live right

the heavenly reality is to become love
be restored to His image
bring heaven to earth
and watch the world change

I’m living the American dream in the reality of heaven
no chains, only wings
no limits, only open heavens
no drama, only Peace
no schedule, only time
