There are many people I feel very connected to, and there are some people I feel very connected to, whom I haven’t even met yet. A couple of them are reading this now, but I won’t name names. Well, there is also a couple in Florida, whom I barely know , but in the spiritual realm, it’s like we’re best friends.
Last year, a woman had contacted me about JC’s Girls and was going to be in town, so we met for a two hour breakfast. She learned about me; I learned about her, and we went our separate ways but still remained connected (occasionally) through sending texts, and on two occasions, when I needed it most, her and her husband sent me money, saying, “God told us to give this to you.” Both times, I had been struggling.
I loved how God was talking to people, whom I barely knew, asking them to send money, and they obeyed. Well, a few weeks ago, I was looking for her name in my phone but couldn’t remember it. I wanted to see how she was doing. For a day or two, I had kept looking, but nothing was standing out, and then, a name jumped out at me, so I sent a text to see if it was her, and it WAS; she was so excited to hear from me!
I told her how I was starting a business, preparing to quit my job, and trusting that God would provide. She was so excited for me. That night, she sent me a text, explaining how God had been talking with her and her husband, individually, for a week in their separate God-time about sending me money, but neither one had mentioned it, until my text came through that day. They said, “Your text is confirmation. We want to bless you!” And they did.
On Monday evening, before driving to Escondido, I checked the mail, and low and behold, they’re letter was there. The sent a note saying how God had given them the amount, and inside was a check for $777.00…no joke! Isn’t God amazing!
It was only two days before that I was doubting (again) if I would make it running my own business, and on that evening, God was comforting me like crazy. I love how he spoke to people I barely knew. I love how “knowing” people doesn’t take years, work, agendas. I love how “knowing” people can happen in the spirit in a moment. There are some people I’ve known for years, whom I feel distant from, and there are some people, whom I’ve never met, that I feel closest to. I’m excited for the journey I’m on…so excited, and I’m honored to share it with you all and to give you a piece of my heart every day.
