It seems like, every day, there’s so much to write about, and every time, God picks what comes out of my heart onto the screen. This morning, He said to write about what I experienced at the Graham Cooke Sessions over the weekend, so here it goes.

First off, I want to take you back a few years (maybe more). Awhile ago, I was at someone’s house, where there were a lot of people, listening to a well-known speaker. During the course of the night, she spoke into everyone’s life, except mine and another guy’s. I ended up crying. I had thoughts that God didn’t love me enough to say anything to me, so I asked Him about it.

He said, “Daughter, you don’t need to hear from Me through anyone else. You hear from me, directly, all the time.” That made me feel better, and I stopped chasing prophetic people for words and haven’t received very many, but lately, that’s been changing.

Over the past couple months, some people have spoken really amazing things into my life. Things that made me think, “Me?” Well, yesterday, Graham had mentioned how his gifting works. He said that he only prophesies over a few people, and as he’s speaking, if anyone in the room is touched by the Holy Spirit to stand up and receive that word as well. I “knew” I wouldn’t get called, so I didn’t anticipate it.

After the first two ladies were called up, I thought, “Well, I know I’m not going to be called.” I bet you God looked at Jesus and said, “She thinks she knows everything, huh?” because right after that, I was called up, well…by accident but then on purpose. (He was actually pointing to Chris, but I didn’t have my glasses on, so it looked like he was pointing to me, and when I asked me, he said, “No,” and pointed to Chris and said, “Yeah, you, too.” It was funny.)

By the way, anyone who misses my laugh should buy a recording of these sessions. He was pretty funny (well, at least I thought he was), so my laugh explodes throughout. I’m glad it was recorded because I don’t remember all of what he spoke over me and want to be reminded.

For those of you who aren’t used to “words” being spoken over you, let me explain. When someone is prophetic, they hear from God about His calling on your life and speak it over you. Last night, God spoke to me about faith, about carrying a ministry of healing and deliverance, about opening and closing doors in the spiritual realm, and so much more. It was amazing!

Yesterday changed the way I thought about my life, and I only heard a small part of what God’s doing. This morning, as I was reading up on DNA and how the strands are intertwined, I thought about staying that close to God all the time, intertwined with heaven. I want to change the way others view the world by being an example of how to live in heaven right here…right now.

This life isn’t about dying to go to heaven and be one with God. We’re one with Him right now. Heaven is hear, waiting to be released, and we’re already in eternity, worshiping the one true, amazing God every moment of every day. Life’s worth living, worth passing on, worth teaching others how to be free!
